Props

Prop development uwu

In one of my previous post I drew some rough ideas on what kind of props would fit within the environment of the game. Because the manor is owned by a family of alchemists a lot of the equipment would have to kind of fit in with that a mixture between traditional science stuff and whimsical magical stuff so with an earlier design for props I went all out designing every little thing that could be included from a book made out of skin to a statue bust that could be used for a potential puzzle (notice the jewel indent on the chest) however with some of these I expanded them slightly.

One prop that wasn't there was a frame which I thought would be cool showing the residents and the legacy of these "great alchemists". I thought it would be cool to show the painting in different states, the first being as it was originally intended to be viewed the second having a hole in the canvas, which toes into a mechanic for the game that I thought would be cool. Because the stalker is pretty insecure about how they look constantly having to replace body parts and sew there skin together as it slowly rots seeing any kind of image of themselves whether that be a mirror or painting causes them to have a meltdown destroying said mirror or painting in the progress, giving the player some time to escape the pursuing killer.  The third frame is one covered in blood, either blood  is leaking from the floor above or a body is pinned to the wall its blood leaking over the portrait.

The other props I think would be cool to design are these glass jars which are used for the killer as he has to constantly replace his body parts he keeps organs in the chiller to replace and of his that begin to rot. Another prop I fleshed out a bit was a book which is pretty much just an alchemy book which the player may have to use to for a puzzle within the manor to brew some alchemical potion or rune to open a sealed door.
